8月というのに割と気持ちのイイ空気だ。朝のジョッギングにてたっぷりとβ-エンドルフィンを堪能してきた。
さて、今朝の重要なニュース。オバマが提案した67年国境線に戻る和平案に対して拒絶を示していたイスラエルだが、今回ついにその提案に沿ってPA側との和平交渉を進める方向転換をした。

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Israel has been working with the United States to develop a new framework to restart peace negotiations with the Palestinians, according to reports.
News agencies cited an unnamed Israeli government official as saying Tuesday that there have been efforts over the past few weeks to formulate the new framework, which will hew closely to the call in May by President Obama for an agreement using the 1967 lines as a basis for negotiations, with land swaps.
ただし、ネタニヤフはオバマに対して二つの条件を提示している。ひとつはPAのアッバスがUN先行策を下ろすこと。もうひとつは彼がイスラエルをユダヤ国家として認知すること。

これはイスラエルにとっては最後の譲歩とも言えるわけで、これでもしPA側が拒否するならば、後はない。IDFはすでに臨戦態勢にある。もしがこの妥協案をPAが飲めば、イスラエルにとっては政治的にも霊的にも大きな後退を意味するが、ダニエル書の最後の1週（7年）の偽りの和平が成立するかもしれない。いずれにしろ、私たちが神のタイムラインのどこにいるのか、この秋には明らかになるだろう。
