山崎シングルモルト10年。シングルのロックでチビチビと。甘みと香ばしさがふわっと口の中に広がり、舌から喉へとしみる。何も足さない、何も引かない、山崎。御言葉と同じだ。
午前はプールとサウナ、午後は映画の巡航モード。『ブレクアウト』。一見豪邸に住むセルブな家族、しかしそれぞれに秘密を持ち、分解寸前にある一家を強盗たちが襲う。その緊迫した状況で秘密が明らかにされていく。しかしその危機的状況の中で家族の絆が取り戻されていく。
よくあるモチーフだが、新鮮に感じさせる。かなりよくできた心理サスペンス。臨場感がすごい。ニコラス・ケイジとニコール・キッドマンの演技がすばらしい。ニコール・キッドマンは95年のトム・クルーズの『デイズ・オブ・サンダー』での脳神経外科医が光っていた。しかし年を感じさせない。ニコラス・ケイジは額の後退と共に、男の哀愁を感じさせる味のある役どころがピッタリだ。家族を守るためにビジネスに熱中して家族の心を失う男が、すべてを失って家族の心を得るのだ。「得ようとすれば失う、失えば得る」というわけだ。
で、その後、やや疲れが溜まりつつあるので、スパにて半日を過ごす。やや曇り空だが、空を見上げつつの露天風呂は抜ける。・・・というわけで、風呂上がりのビールが美味い！それにしても7月になろうと言うのにやけに涼しい・・・。
